This program is open to students of all experience levels, and each student’s schedule will be tailored to their own goals and interests. With opportunities in Scenic Design, Lighting Design, Costume Design, Sound Design, and Stage Management, students will learn to present their ideas and collaborate with other artists to transport audiences into the worlds of their shows. Each student will act as an Associate Designer on one of our mainstage productions, receiving one-on-one mentorship and actively participating in every step of the process while building relationships with our network of industry professionals.​

Dates

Tuesdays and Wednesdays June 7th-July 30th

10am-5pm

Students will be assigned to one or more summer productions and will be required to attend tech week and all performances for that show.

​

Students will additionally be required to have a mentorship meeting at least once a week with program instructor and/or designer. Please note that students will have different schedules based on the show/designer/track they are assigned to, with varying, non-consistent hours. As an immersion program, this experience relies on the flexibility of the student due to the ever-changing environment of a professional theatre’s schedule.

Students ages 14 as of June 1, 2025 through 19, including graduating members of the Class of 2025.
